Astrocartography

Astrocartography maps your birth chart onto the globe to show where planetary lines activate different themes in life.

What it shows

• Sun/Moon/planet lines where those bodies were rising, culminating, setting, or at the IC at your birth
• Areas that emphasize visibility (Sun/MC), relationships (Venus/DSC), drive (Mars/ASC), growth (Jupiter), grounding (Saturn), etc.
• Parans (planetary crossings) that intensify combined themes

How to read

• Start with your aims (move, career, love, study, retreat) and select matching planetary lines
• Prioritize angular lines (ASC/MC/DSC/IC); check orbs ~200–300 km either side as “influence zones”
• Consider natal condition: dignities, sect, aspects to the planet modify results
• Cross-check relocation chart for the target city and current time-lords/transits

Tips

• Favor benefics for general wellbeing; use malefics intentionally for discipline, mastery, or breakthrough work
• Test via travel before relocating long-term
• Journal noticeable shifts in mood, opportunities, relationships, and health

Cautions

• Strong Mars/Saturn lines can be demanding; ensure support structures
• Neptune lines heighten idealism and permeability—excellent for art/spirit, tricky for logistics and boundaries
